WOMB has been selected for the Locarno Film Festival (in Switzerland) from 4 – 14 August 2010, which will hopefully mean more Hannah news coverage, and maybe even a premiere appearance! IonCinema has also selected it as #32 in their Top 100 Most Anticipated Films of 2010, with a very thorough synopsis:

The Gist: As children, Rebecca and Tommy establish a fairy-tale romance. After being separated for many years, they are reunited as adults and their attraction is stronger than ever. But their passionate relationship is short-lived when Tommy is killed in a freak car accident. Devastated, Rebecca feels that life cannot go on without him. She turns to the controversial “Department of Genetic Replication” and her consuming love compels her to bear a new Tommy in her womb. Life with little Tommy is full of joy and wonder, and Rebecca devotes herself to “just us two”, living isolated in a middle-of-nowhere coastal community. But as the years pass, Rebecca cannot fully escape the complexities of her decision. How long will she be able to hide the truth from new Tommy and nosy townsfolk? Can she protect him from prejudice against “copies”? When he grows to manhood in the exact image of her beloved, how will Rebecca explain away the confusing urges that new Tommy doesn’t understand? Why is it on the list?: Fliegauf has certainly made his mark because of his visual toolbelt (see his work in the 2004 film Dealer), but critics mentioned an absence in the story-telling department – this might change for the better as Womb received the Krzysztof Kieslowski award (screenwriting) and was part of the Atelier in Cannes — this should make a household name for the filmmaker beyond the Europes.

September 16, 2009: “Womb” Trailer Released

Thanks to Marion and Julie for letting me know that the first trailer for Hannah’s film Womb has been released! Unfortunately, Hannah is not seen in it, but the films looks very interesting, and hopefully more info will be released about it soon.

May 04, 2009: New Photoshoot & ‘Womb’ Pictures

I’ve added a brand new rare (tagged) photoshoot to the gallery, as well as adding a couple of pictures of Hannah alongside co-stars Matt Smith and Eva Green whilst shooting new film ‘Womb’ (thanks to Eva Green Web for the pics).
