Hi guys! Rumours have been surfacing that Hannah is set to join the cast of H20, but as far as I can tell, this is not true. Also, both these two Twitter accounts (itshannah_m and Hannahmurray_) are both claiming to be official, but neither have been verified and both are in fact linking to this site, which unfortunately isn’t official
What IS official though is that Hannah has joined the cast of The Tamed Ones! Her character is called Jessica, and it’s currently filming in Belgium. Hopefully some more news or even some on-set pictures will eventually surface – fingers crossed!

September 13, 2010: Revolver strikes UK deal for “Chatroom”
Revolver Entertainment has taken UK rights to Hideo Nakata’s Un Certain Regard selection Chatroom.
The film stars rising British actors Aaron Johnson, Imogen Poots, Matthew Beard, Hannah Murray and Daniel Kaluuya.
The deal was done with WestEnd Films, which is handling worldwide sales.
The story follows teenagers who meet online and encourage each other’s destructive behaviour.
Enda Walsh wrote the script. Producers are Alison Owen and Paul Trijbits at Ruby Films and Laura Hastings-Smith. Developed and co-financed by Film4, Chatroom was backed by the UK Film Council and Molinare.
Revolver is planning a unique online marketing campaign for the film.
Developed by Film4 and the UK Film Council, Chatroom is financed by WestEnd Films in association with Notting Hill Films, Film 4, the UKFC and Molinare. The film is executive produced by WestEnd’s Sharon Harel Cohen, Eve Schoukroun, Maya Amsellem and Film4’s Katherine Butler.
This marks this first Toronto that Revolver is attending since launching its new production arm Gunslinger, which produced UK hit Shank.

August 08, 2010: Hannah in Vanity Fair
Imogen Poots, Hannah Murray, Jessica Brown-Findlay, Bonnie Wright and Jamie Campbell Bower posed for the September issue of Vanity Fair in a photo layout titled “Good Graces”. The ladies wore gowns from Marc Jacobs’ Fall fashion line for Louis Vuitton in London while Campbell Bower wore a tuxedo from Anderson & Sheppard for Saville Row.
The first Vanity Fair scan has been added to the gallery, and hopefully a clearer version will surface soon!

August 05, 2010: “Womb” Selected For Locarno Film Festival
WOMB has been selected for the Locarno Film Festival (in Switzerland) from 4 – 14 August 2010, which will hopefully mean more Hannah news coverage, and maybe even a premiere appearance! IonCinema has also selected it as #32 in their Top 100 Most Anticipated Films of 2010, with a very thorough synopsis:
The Gist: As children, Rebecca and Tommy establish a fairy-tale romance. After being separated for many years, they are reunited as adults and their attraction is stronger than ever. But their passionate relationship is short-lived when Tommy is killed in a freak car accident. Devastated, Rebecca feels that life cannot go on without him. She turns to the controversial “Department of Genetic Replication” and her consuming love compels her to bear a new Tommy in her womb. Life with little Tommy is full of joy and wonder, and Rebecca devotes herself to “just us two”, living isolated in a middle-of-nowhere coastal community. But as the years pass, Rebecca cannot fully escape the complexities of her decision. How long will she be able to hide the truth from new Tommy and nosy townsfolk? Can she protect him from prejudice against “copies”? When he grows to manhood in the exact image of her beloved, how will Rebecca explain away the confusing urges that new Tommy doesn’t understand? Chilling answers unravel as Rebecca prepares for the bittersweet fruition of a lifelong dream…
Why is it on the list?: Fliegauf has certainly made his mark because of his visual toolbelt (see his work in the 2004 film Dealer), but critics mentioned an absence in the story-telling department – this might change for the better as Womb received the Krzysztof Kieslowski award (screenwriting) and was part of the Atelier in Cannes — this should make a household name for the filmmaker beyond the Europes.
